Eligibility Criteria for NDA 2 2024

Age Limit:

• For NDA 1 Exam: Born between July 2, 2005, and July 1, 2008.
• For NDA 2 Exam: Born between January 2, 2004, and January 1, 2007.

Educational Qualification:

• Army Wing: Must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 from a recognized board.
• Air Force and Naval Wings: Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates appearing in Class 12 can also apply.

Nationality:

• Must be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee settled in India before January 1, 1962. Candidates from specified countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India are also eligible.
• Gorkha candidates from Nepal do not require a certificate of eligibility.

Marital Status:

• Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible. Marriage during training leads to discharge and reimbursement of government expenses.

Physical and Medical Standards:

• Detailed physical standards including height, weight, chest measurements, and other physical attributes are specified for different wings.
• Candidates must meet specified medical criteria, including visual standards, spinal conditions, and other health requirements. Separate standards exist for female candidates, including gynecological examinations.
